Rev. David Brownfield Ph.D.
Pastor
I was ordained a priest in 1990 and assigned to All Saints, Keokuk, in July 2019. Pope Francis appointed me, along with Fr. Goetz, a Missionary of Mercy in 2016 and thus dedicated to sacrament of reconciliation and preaching mercy of God. I hold a doctorate in Economics and taught college courses. My family consists of my adult adopted son, Bryan, who adopted me first, as well as one sister, two brothers, one nephew and one niece. Both of my parents are now deceased, but it may be interesting to note that after my mom’s death, my dad followed me into the priesthood and served in Ft Madison. My interests are many. I been a member of the diocesan CRS and CCHD board since 1995, the Priest’s Aid Society Board since 1993. I served local Foster Care Review Boards for nine years and a local Empowerment Board for three years. My hobbies also include walking, riding bicycles, computer and video games, and listening to catholic radio. Email: brownfieldd@diodav.org |
