The Solemnity of Easter is one of the most sacred times in the liturgical calendar. A time as Christians when we reflect on the life of Jesus as lived through his passion, death, and resurrection.
Even though most of us are stuck at home, keeping holy the sabbath day is still a command that we need to follow. Also, Holy Week is a time that is a great opportunity of learning for our children!
My first recommendation is to follow the solemnity by visiting our Facebook page where we will stream live all of our Holy Week liturgies. You can also subscribe to our Church YouTube Channel where at the same time, the same liturgies will be live-streamed.
I also highly recommend observing each day with a related craft or activity so that we may “keep” the sabbath as our Lord commands! How do we do that? Well, look no further! I have developed a resource page for celebrating Holy Week at home! Check it out! All the homework has been done for you!
Husband, father, parish leader, and life-long student. Reflecting and contemplating on life as it comes at us. All glory and praise to Jesus Christ King of Kings! May the Mother of Jesus intercede for us all, and Saint Joseph lead us in ways most pleasing to our Heavenly Father.
